An utterly delightful shop, not what you'd expect from the neighborhood. They have a fantastic selection encompassing lots of local made Canadian yarn, and stuff from abroad. The staff were super helpful and welcoming. I'll make the trip again! Also, the peanut butter bars were exquisite
The staff at The Knitting Loft are so knowledgeable and friendly. I’ve been knitting for less than two years and they have really helped me on my journey to becoming a knitter. It’s like going into a candy store, the selection is unbelievable. Today I used their free personal shopper service for one on one help in selecting the perfect yarn for my project and I couldn’t be happier. Definitely treat yourself to a visit here whenever you can!
I booked a (free) half hour appointment to select wool for a new colorwork project. I'd never been to the store previously, but I liked what I saw online, and I liked the idea of a set appointment so that I could get in and out quicker during these Covid times. The store associate was super helpful--she is an experienced knitter who knits a lot of colorwork. She worked with me to select several possible combinations from the store's amazing collection of yarn, and then put them all by the light of the window, which made my final choice easy. There were 2 other staff and a few other customers in the store at the time. Everyone was wearing masks properly and the store is big enough to space out in, so I felt pretty comfortable. Free parking and conveniently located (for me).
I discovered The Knitting Loft about a year ago. I have ordered on line and shopped in person during this time. It has always been a very professional and happy experience for me. I receive help with choosing colours and wools as well as tools. Thank you for all your help.
My first time buying from The Knitting Loft. But certainly not my last. They shipped the same day I ordered. The communication along the way was excellent. Received it in 3 days and I'm out of town. The selection is FABulous. I've already shared this shop with my knitting friends. There is nothing more to ask for, this is a perfect little knit shop. Happy customer. Donna
Lovely responsive staff, and great stock of yarns that are difficult to impossible to get elsewhere. My online order was filled quickly - hope to visit the store in person soon!
So thankful for The Knitting Loft during these times of limited in person shopping. I have such a hard time with yarn choice on the best of days. The great staff at TKL have been a dream to correspond with over email and each package that arrives in the mail is a perfect yarn and colour choice for me! They have such a wonderful selection of yarns and are experts at helping you find the perfect selection.
