Table to Share is an interesting concept of sharing a table with a small group for a multicultural meal. It is as if you were eating with friends or family. I attended the Portuguese and Filipino experiences, and was very pleased, as I got to taste a new cuisine with authentic food, meet new people, and learn a little bit about the culture and food of those countries. This educational aspect of the experience you don’t get just going out to a restaurant on your own. Considering the amount of dishes, the size of the portions, drinks and gratuity included, the overall experience, plus a small gift at the end, I found this to be very reasonably priced. There are some other underrated cuisines I have been wanting to try, so I will be keeping an eye on the upcoming events. This is a great addition to the food scene in Toronto.

My boyfriend and I attended Portugal: A Feast by the Atlantic and we were extremely impressed by our event. Every detail was well-thought out and we were completely immersed in the Portuguese culture. Carla was very informative and every dish was strategically chosen to showcase all that Portuguese cuisine has to offer. If you are a foodie or looking to learn more about different cultures, then this is definitely the experience for you. Carla is warm and passionate and her love of food is evident in all that she showcases through these events.
A wonderful experience for locals or tourist alike. Table to Share gives you a chance to dine at a hosted group meal with friendly strangers family-style. Although there are a few businesses that organizes dinners in similar fashion, Table to Share emphasis on the learning and appreciation of food from a particular culture. I attended a Brazilian-food Table to Share dinner held at a traditional, non-touristy restaurant and it was surprisngly authentic. Although the food wasn't particularly photogenic, I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the groups setting, and most importantly the food itself. Carla (the host) gives an intro/background of the dishes as they are brought in. At the end of the meal, I really felt like I knew a lot more on Brazilian food than before. Right now, Portugese, Brazilian, Filipino and Ethiopian experiences are on offer. Hopefully they will expand to other types cuisines at some point.
Amazing food experience! Philippines the Ultimate Kamayan Dinner, "Eat with your hands". I will for sure try other events. A way to taste food from around the world, know other cultures and meet new people. All that sitting around a table, sharing experiences, listening to stories, having a really good time. Thank you Carla for hosting so well! Thank you Table to Share!
Our Table to Share Ultimate Kamayan Dinner gave us an intimate dining journey through the Philippines, connecting the food with the history, colours and smells of the cuisine, as authentically as dining in our own Filipino grandma’s home kitchen. Thank you Carla ... we will see you at another event
My fiancé and I were lucky enough to attend the “Portugal” dinner series and we were extremely pleased with every single detail. Carla’s passion flows through the venues she chooses, the dishes she chooses to showcase, and her explanations of each dish. The wine pairings were perfectly chosen and the entire evening was one for the books. I would highly recommend this experience for any foodie. Each of the dishes was delicious and we left the event with great memories and full bellies.
