They checked me in quick, the entire process was done smoothly and efficiently. The area is well marked, easy to get around and tell where you need to go. I speak English fluently and American born, and had a hard time understanding when they spoke to me, or when they called my name over the PA system. For most of the workers are foreigners with accents, so that was a bit frustrating. Also I had to do one charge, that insurance didn't cover, the issue was, the machines they were using to charge me, were from like the previous century, therefore it kept on failing... They ended up just billing me by mail.

Today I went North York General Hospital Emergency room on Covid side I think Dr. name is Sharon . I had been to ER so many time I couldn't met like her . She is super polite , took care me and even she was worried my lunch. she is come time to time and checking me. I never met like her. And other nurses also very nice. Thank you so much for taking care me.

Was there for a minor episode but with all the tests was out the door after 6 hours. Great staff and can't say enough good things about them all but would have given 5 stars if it hadn't taken so long but how can you speed things up without pouring more money into a system that is already the biggest money pit in the province? Improving the system has been studied to death but I hear constantly it needs more money. How about diverting the millions we send abroad back to our hospitals and pay the front line staff and technicians more in line with what they are worth.
I thought i have seen worse, but now realize that there is even worse. Accepting patient and then keep patient in hallways for 2 days(partially getting him in and out emergency oom\), minimum supervision. We have been told that my dad who is suffering stroke symptoms will be transferred to normal hospital room is still left in hallway, nurses do not help, when we ask for help we are told that they are busy, with what? chatting with other nurses? I am wondering what management does? Why to accept patients if you don't have enough room and resources? This is inhuman!
