On certain products even the contractor discount was more expensive than other places, some employees can be a bit salty on the phone. On the positive side, they know their stuff. Very informative and helpful. They carry a wide selection of products and tend to cater to the contractors so you're in and out fast. They will premix over the phone so you just, have to pop in to pay and go.

This place sells Sansin stains which is the best deck stain in the market! The staff were really helpful and gave me some valuable advice on how to prep my deck for the stain and gave me application tips. They advised me to wash the deck, then bleach, then sand, then stain. So happy with the result. The staff at Monarch are experts on deck staining and were really thorough on giving me a step by step explanation on how to get a successful application of the stain. Would strongly recommend the store, staff, and products.
Great Paint Store! They have so much selection for paint, staff who really know their stuff, and free parking to boot! When we were first locked down in March 2020 (COVID19), I needed a lot of paint for my family room/basement bath/garage entry/stairs... I was able to order using email (they even made suggestions regarding better products for my purposes) and they brought it out to my car when I arrived. Customer service is excellent. You'll be glad you chose Monarch - you'll get the right paint every time.
