The chicken were really tasty in the big Mary. Quality of their food was awesome. it has enough of every spice in it. Good for people who don't want a lot of salt. For the tarers, they were good but a little bit not fresh. And they are a little extra salty but that's what brings it's flavor to it.

Had to try the chicken sandwich because chicken sandwiches are all the hype right now. It's a nice size piece of chicken on a simple sesame bun keeping the toppings simple with mayo and lettuce. The first bite was VERY good. The chicken has a good solid coating of really crisp breading and it almost crackled when I bit into it. The breading makes for a crispy bite but is also light at the same time. It may not have quite as much of a flavor burst as the new Popeyes chicken sandwich but it certainly was delicious and better than a lot of others out there, so much so that I'd go back for it again!
The food was delicious and hot. Most enjoyable. The cashier who served me was efficient, polite, patient and helpful. I didn't have to wait long for my order. The store was clean, bright. There was a bench for people to sit down while waiting for their food. They have one disability parking spot at the front of the store. They have a good size area for cars to park. In all, this was a very good experience at Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters.
You guys did a great job tonight as you always do when I order from here. I asked for spicy and you delivered. Back and front end always a solid service.
In the realm of Fast Food Fried Chicken, I'd say that Mary Brown's is probably middle ground, what they have going for them is most notably the sides and homestyle feel, but their chicken, for me at least, isn't the best around. It is still head over heels above places like Popeye's, but I've tried Mary Brown's twice now and both times just didn't fully enjoy the taste as much as I'd hoped I would. The macaroni and coleslaw both had a great flavour and even though the portions were small, they were the part of the meal for me. Not having fountain drinks, all the combos came with cans, which for a greasy fast food taste left a bit of a thirst while I was eating.
