I couldn’t see the price anywhere.I ask the staff for price, she said she would give me the receipt, before giving to me, she wrote FINAL SALE on it, then I noticed they sold products with almost 3X price than normal! Very terrible experience
I was walking down Yonge to meet friends for lunch, but I had time to spare so I passed by here. I'm a huge skincare fan and I've tried many products, brands, and I'm even seeking professional treatment. I went to Japan in May and I really loved these 'Pure Smile' masks from Don Quijote so I was hoping to find a place that may sell them over here in Toronto. I went in, wide selection of Korean and Japanese makeup and skincare. I browsed first and was pleased with their selection, but disappointed in their prices. I bought some CanMake blushes in Japan for about 5, but they were selling the same ones for 15 in the shop, which I thought was a steep increase. The blush is a single colour and could fit in the palm of your hand. I understand that shipping adds cost, along with trying to make enough profit to keep the shop alive, but it reminds me of a Japanese snack shop across the street trying to sell a drink for 4 when you could get it at T&T for 2. ANYWAYS, I asked about the PureSmile masks and they said they didn't have so I started to browse through the other masks they had available. A lot of options. I am curious who their main demographic is though. There may be quite a bit of Koreans in Toronto, but not Japanese. And a lot of products are only written in a certain language. I know some Japanese, but not enough Kanji to figure out what the product was supposed to help with, so I needed some assistance. Masks go for about 3 per individual pack, or 20 for those re-sealable packs that come with 10 masks. At least those prices were a bit more reasonable. I got about 10 different kinds of masks to try. All in all, not a bad place if you're interested in trying asian skincare, but if you're looking for makeup and you're on a budget, it would make more sense to go to Nyx.
Great Place! Many Korean and Japanese masks to choose.
They sell the product over price!!! Sell same product with 2X price??? Excuse me???
