With regret I have to say I simply called the Consulate to get 'basic information' pertaining to the National Insurance Board. The fellow on the phone had no inkling what my request entailed, he was blatantly rude to say the least, no telephone etiquette whatsoever. He informed me that no one was retired there at the consulate so no one would know. Very helpful sarcasm. I was given the nib.tt.net site address. Its very disheartening to learn that nothing has changed. I was hoping the 'modus operandi' was simply to assist Trinidad & Tobago nationals. I guess I was dead wrong in this instance. They don't need to have all the answers but, a serving of discourtesy does not help the person asking for assistance. Its still no sense of duty, no sense of pride in work attitude. Please this attitude needs to change now!

I must say, the service I've had from the staff here during the time we've been in lockdown has been nothing short but excellent! My emails, phone calls, and letters were all responded to in a timely manner and, I'm shocked that my TT passport was renewed and FedExed to me in a matter of a few weeks. As TT nationals, we've come to expect a certain level of service from Government offices back home that is sometimes less than adequate, however, I'm happy to see that the TT Consulate in Toronto maintains a very high level of customer service by Canadian standards. Thank you once again for the expeditious service.

It was top notch the service was very professional, proficient, effective and efficient. Corona virus protocols are in place for the safety of the general public and are followed and met in a professional and safe manner. The one thing I loved and appreciated was the timely manner in which everything was executed. To the service representatives keep up the good work and god bless.
