Instructors are fine. Lessons are very short. By the time they are in and out, lesson is done. No really much time in water. The office opens during business hours and kids swim evenings and weekends. No one at the pool can answer questions and good luck getting hold of office when you need them (they don’t always call you back). Office does not communicate the schedule corrections, etc. As a result, multiple times parents are told ‘miscommunications’ - rather ignorance from the office stuff. Can’t resolve anything at the pool - “call the office” is all you get and “we are just enforcing and following our printout” that is by the way out of DOS system (totally outdated), no online booking, no way of checking , no convenience at all. If you want yourself a headache, that’s the place to be. They do have interesting safety program, but the amount of headache parents get through all this might not worth it. I would research other schools around.

The care and experience that these swimming instructors have is commendable. Their organization and consideration for the children safety is appreciated. Very professional and amazing swimming instructors. Highly recommend.
My daughter has been swimming at Buckler Aquatics for the past 6 years and I love it!! I'm now learning to swim there as well because the staff is supportive and warm which gave me the confidence to start learning after so many years
Better for children aged 3 and above. Buckler Aquatics has a friendly staff & clean facility with viewing studio. We were assured that the programming was appropriate for 18months and above without a parent in the water. From a safety perspective, this is true. However, my son who is 18 months old, spent 20 of 30minutes sitting in a wet towel on the side of the deck while the two older kids in the class were able to hang out in the water because of their more advanced level. There were no tot docs, songs or games. His lessons involved being carried and dunked across the pool which is fine but when we asked if they could work on various skills like blowing bubbles or kicking his legs we were told this was not possible until the next level - which surprised me since he is already able to do these things. We ended up pulling him out half way through and despite voicing our concerns about the appropriateness of the level for his age, the program offers no refunds. As someone who has spent 15 years involved in aquatics including teaching and coaching I think the purpose of swimming lessons is to build confidence and comfort in the water. This involves making lessons fun and meeting kids where their skill level is at. We are returning to a Parent and Tot class in another program until our son is ready for regular programming.
As per the review below from bur\ We also had the exact same experience at this location They dunked my daughter under the water on the very first lesson, I was watching from behind the glass and jumped out of my seat because I knew she wasn't ready. She was resistant for the remaining lessons and they could manage to get her to do was float back n forth on her back. Wish I made more of a deal about it at the time, she's had a very hard time adjusting to swimming now since the incident. ** r bur 42 reviews 11 months ago surprised by the high rating. both my kids hated it and were terrified when the instructors FORCED them to put the heads under water. they werent ready, obviously, as anyone with a bit of sense would be able to see. no refund available either of course. now my 6yr is scared to even try another place. i do not recommend buckler at all. **
