The building aesthetic is modern and sophisticated. Well, that's the outside. Inside, it still looks modern, however, how functional is this? Somehow it looks like there's a lack of space optimization. And when you're in a room you can still hear the noises from the outside. The problem here is - it's a building designed by and for engineers, so I had a higher expectation. Overall, the staff and speakers made my experience fantastic, so it still deserves 4 stars!

A stunning piece of architecture. The building is designed to represent a cloud floating over a rock on Georgian Bay. The facade is made up of a series of 8,000 triangular metal panels and windows positioned according to a complex and precise algorithm thus evoking the properties of a cloud that is both scale-less and ever-changing.

They got microwaves on the first floor, quiet study zone on fourth and different study spaces on each floor which makes it ideal for studying or collaborative group work.

Amazing building design, functional and beautiful at the same time. P.S. I like the dean's fashion sense, especially his shoes. :) 10/10, would visit again.

All of these conceptual designs are false advertising. They managed to make a 169500 sq ft building feel like 20000 sq ft with its extremely inefficient floor plan. Half the features of the building don't work either...

The building looks amazing. It is very beautiful from inside and outside. Always love the work done by arup. It is great place for students to collaborate, the new project based learning style classrooms, and more. One thing that I feel was they could have adopted some of the eco stuff the new north campus of Humber college have in their new building. It would have set very different standards.
