I drive miles to have soup here. And I'm greedy, i have the EXTRA LARGE bowl for 10 bucks. And before I leave i get more from the fridge to take home. You'll often see Mr Dauns helping out. Good for him, he sticks to cooking just SOUPS and he does it very very well. Note: often has 4 hot soups everyday which includes a bun. Note 2: parking was free here for the 1st hour. Not anymore - Jan 2021 - maybe I'm mistaken?

The best soup in North Vancouver! Many different varieties to choose from. Everything is made from scratch. Nothing is processed. And you get a very hearty bowl full of ingredients, not just liquid. There are at least 5 different varieties of hot soup every day. There's something for everyone, whether meat or vegetarian. Seafood based soups as well. There are 2 kinds of clam chowder and even a salmon soup. And there are seasonal soups, as well. Winter harvest is a great one in colder months. And in summer, there are cold soups (trust me, they're quite good). Some of my personal favorites are Lion Ranch Hamburger, Tomato Basil Mushroom, Turkey Milanese, and the best of all: Italian Wedding (available every second Thursday). And it's conveniently located right by the Seabus. In a hurry? You can get cold soups from the fridge to heat up at home.

I meet friends in this great spot quite often! This is the best place to eat. I visit this spot frequently. The cooking is of high quality, the team is polite and the payment is decent. I enjoy going in this place to have a decent lunch.

I feel compelled to buy their soup every time I'm in the Quay and walk by. It's so good. Chicken chorizo is a top notch soup.

Most amazing soup in Vancouver. Apart from being very affordable, the owner takes great pride in himself and his staff. Everyone is always working hard and very friendly. Great variety and a good stop for meat eaters and those who with more strict diet restrictions alike. Great bang for buck.
