It's good for Indian items as we have only one indian store here in this area,but they keep very old stock.So most of the times I have to go to other Indian store that is a way far. Anyways service is good by the owner of the shop.

SJ food has the best Spanish saffron I found in the North Shore it is on lonsdal by 711 in the back alley

A hidden little gem in North Vancouver. I am all for supporting small family businesses and I have been shopping here forever! The owners are absolutely lovely. Don’t let the size fool you because this store has a huge inventory of goodies. Once you shop at S J Foods, you will return for sure.
The store is on the second floor of the building. Entrance off back alley. Came looking for tandoori marinade but they stock only a fresh jar or a spice mix; BOTH contain *red food coloring* instead of paprika. A disappointment.
