Can’t say enough good things about this place! As a staff member and student here there is such a supportive and friendly environment wether that’s other staff, boarders or lesson kids and parents. This barn is truly like a second home, supportive and caring through thick and thin.

I started in school lesson program and moved my way to owning my horse. I’ve been riding here for years with good coaches and a good program environment to learn at. The staff are knowledgeable and super friendly.

The owner and instructors are VERY negligent. I was put on a horse I did not feel comfortable with and as a result was thrown against a wall: I suffered a broken pelvis. The instructor (Lauren) forced me to walk up a hill to the office (so she was basically dragging me), instead of keeping me still (the proper protocol). The owner looked at me and laughed, saying \Poor you!\. I was told to wait in the office with an ice pack and that I would be better after a hot bath. At this point I was completely stunned by the pain and what had happened. Absolutely no concern was shown and I later learned this is common with certain stables that are afraid of lawsuits... I was picked up by my husband: no one at the stable would help me walk to the car (which was impossible and only achieved because my husband carried me to it.) No one ever followed up with me. We informed them of what had happened and no one showed any remorse. I also question the care taken of the horses here: it is clear they have little room to more about in, except when they are being used for lessons.

I learnt to ride at NSEC on the school horses and progressed up to being a competitive rider and owning horses. My horses were always well taken care of by the knowledgable staff, and I continue to ride and learn here.
