Good for kids
This is my favorite hiking trail by far! Although an intermediate climb, the paths are doable for small children with the exception of the third peak which would be a bit dangerous for kids under 10 years old. Why I love it? It has different terrains from gravel at the beginning, bush areas, tall big trees and some places requiring you to use your hands. This is a great workout but not difficult to climb. The view at the second peak would make most folks more than happy that they hiked there. If you push on a bit further (15-20) minutes more, you'll reach the third peak which has the best view. It's breathtaking when we got there. There was alot of fog above the city so it has this mysterious feeling and fantasy scenery (great for photos). Until the next climb!

The hike wasn't easy but not super difficult. The main challenge was the outcrops of rocks, many of them are quite sharp and slippery when wet. I'd recommend a quality pair of hiking boots with a harder outsoles to cushion those sharp rocks. Despite this, the view on top is awesome. You see the while lower Mainland to the south, and sea of mountains in all other directions. 3 of us went a day after a major rain storm and the mosquitoes were out in full force. We were instantly attacked by the bugs as soon as we stopped walking. We nearly emptied a can of Off-Deep Woods.
Loved this trail! We did it on a cloudy morning so the view at the top was obscured. But we still got some awesome views on the way. The trail was medium difficulty to us, a mostly gradual, not too steep incline, with some bigger rocks to climb right before the top.
1 of the amazing trails I've been on. It has 3 peaks, and the further you go, the better view it is.
One of my favourite hikes for 2018. Started from the parking lot and took the small trail on the left side of the ski run. Trail was diverted about 1 km in and had to get back on the ski run for about 500 meters. The trail from this part on is a bit more elevation gain and some area you will need to use your hands to climb. Spectacular views from almost all areas of the trail. Once you get near the First Pump the landscape changes and has beautiful rocky areas. Did not make it the final 500 meters to the Mount Seymour peak as the dog rolled in and climbing was becoming more difficult for our dog. Bring lots of water and make sure your dog likes to climb over large rocks on the trail. Enjoy!
