North Shore Black Bear Society

The LV firefighters did an amazing job of assisting the Conservation Officer Service with the rescue of a young bear at Lynn Valley Centre on July 16, 2014. The North Shore Black Bear Society is very grateful that the bear was captured in such a careful manner thanks largely to the ladder truck and the harness, in addition to the men and women on duty.
