This spot in Lonsdale Quay is a great place to grab a quick bite or a hot drink. We always go for their dark hot chocolate topped with marshmallows, perfect for the cold Vancouver weather. They serve sandwiches, too.
Delicious place to get crepes and dessert! The atmosphere is great, such a lovely place. Desserts are also eaten up with the eyes and they do a great job with presenting food in a way that is pretty as well as making food that tastes good.
The food tastes as good as it looks, but the family favourite was the The Peanutjob. So tasty, especially the bananas.
I ordered a camp out waffle. It came with fresh waffle, brownies, marshmallows, and a small ice cream cone dipped in chocolate. It was delicious for sure. My boyfriend had a mexicoco which was a hot chocolate with spice in it. Hot chocolate was also amazing but I am not a fan of added spices in my hot coco.... Service was great although they served other clients first although they ordered after us, but I assumed that's because they want our drink AND food to arrive at the same time. I wish they would have asked because I was dying for my drink and wouldn't mind having it first.
I went there with my friend visiting from the US and ordered the calling all chocolates..it was well-presented but I think that they could do better with their waffle bites..otherwise everything else is good..and service is good.. And the cafe is cozy enough
Chocolate desert shop by Lonsdale Quay! There are way too many ice cream shops around this touristy area of North Vancouver nowadays, but the first-ever chocolate-dipped Cacao 70 style ice cream was something different for sure. The soft, fluffy ice cream that gets dipped right into a pool of dark chocolate is just so satisfying, even just to watch. The chocolate was legit, and depending on the one's preference, the ice cream itself can be good or bad. I personally didn't like to extra-fluffiness of the ice cream itself, but my friend liked it and found it unique. They have several other flavours for dipping, and I can't wait to try their black sesame dipping next time! The store wasn't too crowded when my friends and I got in, so the server was prompt at helping us. I would recommend this place for all chocolate lovers (like me!)
My wife and I were looking forward to checking this place out but were hugely disappointed. We ordered 2 waffles with dipping sauce. Both waffles were nearly raw and very chewy. In addition, the sauce is actually served on the waffle (not sure how you’re supposed to dip it then?) and there was so much of it that the waffles were practically swimming. Not recommended.
