Their online booking system is really easy to use, and their staff is really knowledgeable and helpful. I'll definitely be back. The only opportunity for improvement would be having an explanation on their website about how to find them. They are tucked in the back corner of a sizeable Marina. It took me a bit to figure out where E Dock is as I'm not super familiar with Marinas. It would be nice to have a map and written directions. Other than that (and it is very minor), I was impressed overall.

Amazing location to paddle from, because you can immediately access the Gulf Islands. Tucked in between Sidney and the Swartz Bay ferry, you don't have to deal with much of the traffic from either - just explore the islands, and the marine life near the shores. Pacifica has a great selection of kayaks, as well at paddle boards and canoes, and the launch ramp is such an easy and safe starting point. I always prefer the ramp over beach launches.

We had EJ as our guide. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. She showed us things along the shore and she was easy to talk to. It’s a beautiful place to kayak. Easy to learn. I would recommend it.

I missed my ferry today to Salt Spring and Pacifica saved my morning. A quick drive away from Swartz and I was on a SUP moments later. Best way to spend my morning as it was another two hour wait to catch the next ferry. Thanks Sandra for hooking me up on such a beautiful day on the calm waters!

Amazing experience! Super friendly staff helped a group of us (2 adults and 3 children) into a double kayak and canoe. Everything was clean and sanitized as per COVID 19 precautions. We saw so much wildlife while paddling around the gulf islands. So many seals relaxing on the little islands and playing in the water, as well as jellyfish of all different kinds, 3 bald eagles, crabs, fish, and the kids favourite - baby raccoons. Can’t wait for our next adventure - will definitely be back this summer!

Great location. Good service and rates. Friendly and helpful staff! Superior kayaking among the little islands here vs inner harbour or other sites. A little off the beaten path but worthwhile.

Bring drinking water. We rented a 2-person canoe for three people, and got a flotation device as a middle cushion. The young lady in the middle said she was comfortable. I would definitely go back! There are non-private islands to explore and beautiful private properties to ogle. Next time, I have to ask the staff which ones I can go on. Running shoes were a good choice for hiking one of the islands. We also saw a variety of cute sea lions and some rock-coloured crane-looking birds, and a jellyfish with an egg-yolk-looking centre.

Amazing. My wife and I were kayaking and she spotted a seal. She loves wildlife, but I think that seal saw he was about to be hugged to death, and peeled out. Prices were great and the kayaks did not sink on us.
