Never really found them helpful. No deals on long term rentals and good luck if you're rental is around the 1st of the month cause they will probably tell u they have nothing available. When really they just want the daily rentals from people moving.

Terrible customer service! Called to rent a 26’ truck that was available ( because the 20’ we wanted was unavailable) 3 weeks in advance. Got a call less than 24 hrs before we were to pick it up and told that there was no truck available until Monday. Called the location directly and the phone kept ringing, with no answer. Called head office for Uhaul and was on the phone for over an hour to get no where. They have almost no trucks north of Barrie, let alone in North Bay. Called every other truck rental in North Bay to hear Uhaul (this location in general) been doing this to people regularly and no trucks are available anywhere! After frantically calling around town, we ended up having to rent the cargo van from The Home Depot and make the move in a million trips. We even stopped by the Uhaul office to speak to them directly rather than through their head office. Sign on the front door says they’re open; time we arrived Friday said open; however the door was locked. Lights were off. No one was home. Had issues renting from them before, but this is the last time we will ever try to rent from U-Haul again.
This is the only U-Haul I will go to in North Bay. Bryan is a great guy and goes out of his way to help. He listened to what I wanted and made the arrangements for me.
