Love, love, love this place!! Their food is beyond excellent, creative, innovative and always ready to eat. We live the take-out service. Please allow the one ‘but’: going out and sitting down at their wonderful place to have food there is just a one notch better. Clean, impeccable place, we are big fans!

A good French inspired bistro situated in a neighbourhood severely lacking in food choices, Nord Bistro serves good quality fare at slightly higher than normal prices. We had the Duck Confit and Lamb Burger for takeout. Both items were good. Confit was cooked well, but Risotto was lacking a bit in flavour. Lamb Burger was slightly dry and could use a bit more fat content. Frites were done well. Service was very friendly. Overall, a good dining experience.

My husband and I like to try various restaurants around the city. We came to Nord Bistro because the reviews were so amazing. Well... the food exceeded my expectations, it was all absolutely delicious. I had the beet and pear salad with goat cheese on top. Loved it! For the main course I had a cod special, with vegetables. Whatever the sauce was on top it was outstanding and the vegetables were cooked just perfectly. My husband had a chicken pasta which he said was excellent. All the desserts are made on site and we had a chocolate torte which we both absolutely loved. This is a family owned business which you could tell because the service and food were both outstanding. We will most definitely be back.
