An incredible Saskatchewan gem and a must see. Worth the hike. We hiked here during late August and once you get into the woods there are fresh and edible blueberries that make for a nice, fresh snack along the way. There’s so many fantastic views along the way. Far off the beaten path. Only about an hour drive from Narrow Hills Provincial Park so if you’re staying there for a few days make sure to reserve half 4-6 hours for this excursion.

Easy access from Hwy 912 to Hwy 165. We drove up from Whiteswan (approx 1h15m). When you turn south off Hwy 165 (there are signs) it looks like a dirt/gravel parking lot (Lot 1) keep driving on the path (if there are no trees down). There is a main dirt/grass parking area (Lot 2) that you can park in. There is an outhouse at Lot 2 but make sure you pack toilet paper. The hike to the sand cliffs is approx 1.5km from the 2nd lot and approx 3.0km from the first lot. There are no picnic tables here but lots of areas you could lay down a blanket for a picnic. Beautiful area. A new adventure that is worth the drive.
