Yes, Canada side is better. HorseShoe Falls' view is only visible from Canada side and it's a sight to see. The viewing area is also much larger, seem to have much nicer visitors for some reason and also feels less crowded (probably because the area is much bigger than the sky deck on US side). Good on you Canada, you beat US here hands down :)
Everyone should see at least once in their lives. Do all of the tourist-y things. Go behind the falls. See them from the top. It is the best way to see the shear volume of water that runs over the falls. Take the Maid of the Mist or similar boat tour to see them up close. It is all fabulous. There very often is a rainbow hanging around. The falls are gorgeous any time of the year.
Great place to be. It's BIGGG and the views are completely different during the day and night as in the night you see the lightening but in the day time you see the enormous size much clearly. So you have to visit it at both times
Magnificent place to visit. Been here twice and it still amazes me. Be sure to stay at the embassy suite that has rooms facing directly towards the fall!
