Called to enquire about purchasing a boat. The lady on the phone was pretty rude, very condescending because I didn’t know the exact engine I wanted and requested some options. Told me that the sales people are too busy and that I needed to drive an hour into the store if I wanted to talk someone. Told me that she wouldn’t guarantee anyone would call me back. Makes no sense as I’m calling to buy a product from you and it’s like I’m hassling you. Surely you want people buying your products, why reject them??? Unless it’s just a hobby and not necessarily a business, that would make sense.

We were looking for a Pontoon boat for the Family. Seen the Newstar booth at the Outdoor Rec and RV Show, where I have been going to for many years as I am a member of the World Famous Scott's Timber Show. Norman took the time to talk with us and understood or needs versus our wants. He totally took everything into account, including budget. The boat we got fit us and fit our lake where we live. It was and is easy to handle, store and maintain. Also, even though I am a trained Boat and Marine rescue technician with the Fire service, Newstar taught me a few things in regards to taking care of and maintaining the boat. Also, when I had questions and dropped in to the office, I got answers and help. Pics say it all.....go ahead buy one of their boats, then write your own story!
I went over to purchase a tender at near closing, on a Friday. The entire staff, bent over backwards to ensure I was able to get everything I needed for the weekend. The mechanic and his helper were extremely helpful and courteous. The owner provided a detailed non rushed walk through of how everything worked.
