Our pup (Aussie/Collie) loves going to Dogtopia, she gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. We totally trust everyone at this location and they are so easy to talk to, we don't have any concerns when we leave her there for the day. She gets to interact with other dogs and the coaches and she's getting the exercise she needs. It also helps that you can check in and watch your dog on the dog cams. Thank you Dogtopia team!

We left our dog Brownie, at Dogtopia for 3 weeks as we had to go to our home country towards the end of August. We watched him on the webcams every day and we were very happy that he got along very well with the other dogs in the playroom and the coaches seemed very nice. We also received emails regularly updating us on how Brownie’s doing. After about a week in one of the emails, they told us that Brownie seemed to have a mild cold so they said they will be keeping him with them at the front desk for a few days until he is better. We really appreciated that they were giving him that attention. However, after we picked him up and brought him home, we realized there was something wrong with his left eye as it was very watery, and he could barely keep it open. At first, we thought it was just due to the cold but as it was getting worse, we took him to the vet. The vet shaved the hair around his eye and found big scratches all around his eye (as shown in the picture) as well as a deep ulcer right on his cornea. After putting antibiotic drops in his eyes every hour for 10 days his eye is a bit better now but unfortunately, Dogtopia did absolutely nothing to help us find out how Brownie ended up like that. They just insisted that it might have been due to an allergic reaction to the shampoo they used to wash him on the last day and that he has scratched his eye with his paw because of the irritation. This reasoning makes no sense to us. Not only did they not take any responsibility for the incidence they even refused to pay for his treatment.

We bring our puppy Giant Schnauzer to Dogtopia and we love it ! We have tried couple other daycares around the area but by far this is the best place. 1) Very clean. The coaches clean up the urine and stools immediately. Sometimes wipes the area twice. At the end of the day, the dog is clean and don’t need a full bath each time. 2) Camera. You can see the dog all the time if you would like to. It gives a piece of mind that the dog is happy and safe at the daycare while you are not with them! 3) Friendly Staff ! If you have any feed backs or concerns about your dog please call the staff. They are very friendly and willing to hear out your concerns and happy to work with you. If you are looking for a daycare around the area, Dogtopia Newmarket is the place to go !

I really want to give 4.5 stars as Doptopia is absolutely amazing. I have two girls there and they were very shy in the beginning. After a few visits, they were more and more social and is less anxious when meeting new people and puppies. Dogtopia of Newmarket also offers webcam services who partners with google nest, which makes the viewing experience very straightforward and provides a relatively stable service. I would like to see them expand to multiple angles of the room as there are a few blind spots when only using one camera. Brooke was our main point of contact in Doptopia, she was responsive to our inquiries and needs/wants of our girls, easy to communicate with and always did a great job getting back to us in a timely fashion. Our dogs are poodles and we got them that way so we can stay above the allergy fray. One point of improvement, although could be a bit hard to implement, is to allow a quick blow off of the pups prior to pick up to minimize other dogs dandruff to be brought along with the girls. Last point of awesomeness is a report card per visit. Dogtopia of Newmarket emails you daily reports per dog per visit. Which are extremely detailed. The only reason I want to remove half a star is the pricing of their plans. They are very expensive without any promotion on. We are on a promotional plan currently for a month, 200 per dog. Same plan without the promotion is around 800, which will immediately put us out of the question of utilizing their services. Hopefully they can find a way to streamline their services to make it less pricey.
