I delivered my first baby in March with Adrienne's doula services. She was very professional and extremely helpful during my pregnancy, when delivery and after my baby was born. Like any other first time mom, I carried a lots of uncertainties and nervousness, but Adrienne was always available to answer all my concerns and provide guidance. Her prenatal home visits warmed me up in a natural way. Not only I learned some important skills on comfort measures and breastfeeding, but she learned me as well. She understood my preferences, my strengths and weaknesses. I was very open when talking with Adrienne since I knew she's very trustworthy. We together created my birth plan, the unique plan that only belongs to me. During labour, we communicated closely. She walked me through the intense labour process. I was so impressed that Adrienne knew me so well just after a couple home visits. She heard my voice! She communicated with the medical team about my birth plan. She reminded me to have deep breaths at the right time. She passed me juice whenever I felt thirsty...The labour process was overall a good experience. Adrienne continued her postpartum visits. She was very caring. She answered all my concerns. Her advises were very helpful. Adrienne always says "Listen to your body and trust your body." I think it is very true. Our body can manipulate great tasks, which we would never think we can do but we sure can. I would highly recommend Adrienne to every expected Moms.
