Robert and his team converted our 1897 four story home from knob and tube to current code two years ago. He told me it was his most difficult residential job he'd had at that point - I'm not surprised as the house is large and none of walls lined up over the four levels. I'm no stranger to renovations, acting as general contractor on most of our restorations and that was without hesitation the best executed job I have ever had contracted (value and quality - this home or previous ones). I had four quotes done and Robert's was the lowest and the only contractor who felt confident enough in his skills to give me a fixed quote. The three other contractors wanted to literally rip-out our ceilings on two floors to get to the wiring (one wanted us to move out)! Robert's team pulled out and fished through all the wiring through 4 inch diameter holes in the original walls/ceilings - I plastered them (only my second attempt at plastering!) and you'd never have known the wiring was done and the walls touched. If you are looking to replace your knob-and-tube I'd highly recommend Robert - it will also save you a lot in home insurance fees as most insurers either won't cover knob and tube homes or have high premiums for it.

Robert worked on electical panel upgrade, install heater, etc at my house. I am very pleased work Robert's work. He completed the work on time and on schedule. He maintained a good communications throughout the projects and he is always available to answer my questions. Thank you for doing a great job! Failed electrical inspection. Was furious that we called the electrical inspector. Had a younger (trainee?) do the work, and said everything was up to code. Either didn't inspect the work, didn't know what code required, or didn't care. Used aluminum wiring (for stove) despite their own website saying how unsafe aluminum wiring was, and should be removed. Installed electrical panels upside-down - very difficult now to match up circuit diagram to actual breaker. Threatened to sue when we asked him to make corrections.

Robert came out to do a small job at our condo and he was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. His rates were reasonable and he was able to squeeze us in on short notice. We will be calling Robert again for any electrical services we need in the future and we will also be recommending him to our family and friends.
