At Transit Police, the 183 sworn police officers have the same powers as any other municipal police officer within the province of British Columbia. They take a beat-style and community-focused approach to policing, but have the option to apply for a diverse range of specialized units within the department or to secondment opportunities. At Transit Police, the 73 civilian staff support the important work of our officers. Had a incident at Joyce station .originally vpd took the case very professional .they handed it over to transit .they are handling this like a poor football team fumbling like they are not competent to handle such cases

they don't do anything about the gate jumpers for the skytrain stations. people walk in behind me when exiting the gates every morning, using my compass card access. the skytrain might as well be free. why the hell am i paying for other people.

My boyfriend was meeting me at newest sky train was bringing my id to me I left over at his place the night before when they stopped him he had a crossbow in his backpack and someone had called it in they had a problem a couple of days before with another person. The officers were really nice with him but took my pass by mistake they didn't believe my boyfriend when he said it was mine.
