Unfortunately, a very dishonest and unprofessional builder. Do not waste your time or money. Just like the others, will file a honesty and integrity complaint against Mattino Developments with Tarion.
Unfortunately, you don't get what you sign for with Mattino. Their preconstruction process is woefully disorganized and almost fraudulent. Many have fallen victim to their bait and switch tactics, they promise and sign for one thing but bully you into accepting something lesser once you're committed. If they see prices have risen since you signed (which has been the case in Ottawa for the past years), they will rob you of your home and sell it at an even greater profit, or they'll simply take things away or charge you more for inclusions until you give up. It's the wild west for builders now, so beware of the dishonest like Mattino.

Many people got scammed by this builder, back in 2018 reserved a condo, now 2021, Ottawa booming and prices went up by 40%, just announced that project is cancelled??? plans changed and building rental apartments???what about my time i waited for so long? i lost so many other opportunities and others too. Will be contacting lawyers and file complaints to city and Tarion.
