"NeigbourGram"​ provides a resource for neighbours to send kind gestures and convey appreciation to one another by couriering unique home-grown flower planted in a neat flowerpots with personalized letters. Our Story Living in Pakistan, most were stricken by poverty. Often, the support of neighbours was needed to overcome tough times. Consequently, a great deal of respect, appreciation and sense of belonging was formed within the community. After years of living in Canada, I realized, many lived their distinct lives and most neighborhoods lacked that sense of unity that I grew up with. My goal was to create an opportunity for families to appreciate their neighbours and also to inspire my younger brother to make a positive impact in the community, regardless of his age. I played the role of being a mentor who focuses on the satisfaction of helping others as opposed to the accumulation of monetary wealth. After many failed attempts of creating an appealing logo, combined with hours of research and planting flowers, it seemed very easy to give up. However, quitting was not an option as we were set on creating change within the community. Delivering our first neighbour-gram was most memorable; I watched as my neighbour's face filled with joy and decided to express her appreciation by sending neighbour-grams of her own to her neighbours. This ripple effect as a result of our successful mission brought us an immeasurable sense of fulfillment.
