Let me start off by saying that my in-laws have lived in Ottawa for 30 years and haven't made their way the 22 minute drive it takes to get this gem. I come along and am curious about 1. if there are wineries in Ottawa and 2. where are they? We made a whole day of it and enjoyed a lovely late morning in the shade looking out at the vines. We had delicious cheese and bread with the wine tasting and the estate wines were my favorite. Particularly the Rosalie! The experiments that this place does is worth the taste. One of the wines was a bright orange (in the photo) due to a happy accident, that happy accident was also delicious! We were given a tour of the vines and barrels and even got the opportunity to say hello to the owner. This is an absolute must if visiting Ottawa or living in Ottawa!

Had a fantastic experience with my husband for our first anniversary! The wines were absolutely amazing and we purchased one of our favourites to take home at a very reasonable price. We'll definitely plan a trip back to try some of the ones we weren't able to try today!
Visited Domaine Perrault this morning. A simple and beautiful small boutique winery and farm. Greeted warmly, nice outdoors setup, lots of space. Friendly staff. Light music for ambiance which was lovely for a fall morning. We made friends with two beautiful dogs on site. Chose their Sommelier Select packages. 5 wines each and cheese, meat, crackers, fruit. Very generous with samples/tastings and food. Private tour through the vines with a few great surprises. Great conversations. Felt like friends not guests. 2.5hrs went by in no time. Highly recommended.
A wonderful place for a special event. Thank you Domaine Perrault for helping me celebrate my birthday this year! We had a lovely tasting and tour, and are looking forward to our next visit!
Went for a wine tasting. Do yourself a favor and book that. Food was great and abundant samples were super generous and the staff so friendly. What a great way to spend an afternoon.
