My favourite restaurant in Ottawa! If you're craving some tasty Peri-Peri chicken, look no further than Nando's Merivale. The food is always great and the staff is always friendly. I've never had a bad experience. Sure, it's occasionally busy but it's worth the wait when the chicken is this good. Thank you Nando's staff!

Been going to this location for a decade now. Most of the times, the experience is always good. However, sometimes it doesn't meet the expectation. Last week we ordered via Uber, and the chicken didn't have the sauce on it, neither was there any side sauce. Yesterday, I ordered online and asked to make it well done. Everything was perfect but then saw the blood in a couple of pieces. Mistakes can happen but the overall experience is good. Will definitely visit again.
I am a regular customer for many years. Good food, nice place and sitting area. Orders can get messed up sometimes due to the rush but the manager has always fixed it. Overall experience is good.
Honest, kind and friendly employees who really know how to handle lunch and dinner rushes. Delicious, succulent, and consistent food EVERYTIME! And to patrons who are not happy with wait times - They are literally roasting raw chickens in the back over open flame. It is not a restaurant where they merely 'defrost' food. Good things TAKE TIME!!
We decided to go here today, I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile now. Great location. It took awhile to receive the food. As, there were a lot of take out orders that came first. We got our food and it was delicious! I’d return to this place for lunch. Very easy to order.
This place is highly recommended. The atmosphere with the songs and the overall vibe was very relaxing. The food was very delicious. The serving sizes were generous. And the most important was the great hospitality. We had the chance to be helped by (Visit). He helped us in choosing very delicious dishes. He was always available all the time and he made sure That everything was available for us on the table. I would definitely go again with my family
Great food at a fair price, but it shouldn't take 20 minutes to make a simple chicken sandwich. The wait times here are ridiculous...not the place to go if you have 10 minutes. That being said it's a great chicken sandwich!
The food has always been good. Good spicy chicken, the lemon pepper is my favorite. Don't be shy and give it a try :)
