Jay is simply an amazing caring compassionate community person whom regularly is on site ready to assisting you with loans and pawns. The only thing vip pawn shop will not take as collateral would be cellular phones simply do to the magnitude of thefts and black listings phones can be problematic. However this pawn shop is also a store and has a wide arrangement and variety that is differs from normal exepirence with pawn shops the large variety of unique globally founded items can stretch from the mind to the fairly exotic. Recently I've purchased Italian racing goggles made in the 50s for 75 bucks not a bad price at all. Pricing is hit and miss however with a strong argument and proof Jay is very reasonable with prices. I also purchased a computer there and had no issues with this computer at all the system is up to date perfect smooth flow and was updated by the shop to keep it concurrent with similar new computers in which you can't be at a better place and price I got a great laptop and it beats Walmart's finest newest technology the store is arrange very nicely and is much clearer then the other pawn shops. A friendly and forgiving family run store in whichever you're situation being these guys really care about you and sincerely hope that they can make you happy everyday in life. I would give this pawn shop six stars and remains the only pawn shop I'd actually buy something from. I've never purchased anything from any other store due to price and quality remains consistently poor and surprising as well only in-store credit options opposed to being able to get a proper refund. Definitely go up Nicol street and see what will surprise you everyday is something new and exciting of a visit for me thanks for reading this review.

I cant speak of the prices paid to customers looking to pawn or sell. But I can say that as a customer looking to buy the prices are outrageous. The phone selection is a joke. I can buy brand new unopened unlocked phones of the same make and model for the same price or less. Why would I buy one with a broken back? Or any kind of damage. Half of them are probably burner phones for drug transactions. I don't want the cops triangulating my signal and getting pulled over. Its basically all garbage except for the video game selection. If you like n64 games there are some really good ones here. Or if you liked the super Nintendo they have a few units available with games. That was really all that I found interesting. How much merch is stolen is questionable. But I guess its hard to figure out what is and isn't stolen. That's what pawn shops are for. Unless I buy an n64 I won't be back. Also very dirty grungy feel to the place.
