I took two pair of scissors to Ken to sharpen. Neither had been sharpened for years. This was my first time. He took the time to show me important things about the sharpening of scissors. I picked them up a few hours later. At home I found them considerably sharper! In fact, I learned (without Ken saying so) that I could do better in keeping them more protected. So I made leather and wool felt protectors for these two scissors.
Ken was amazing!! professional in all aspects, from the information shared about the processes of sharpening and maintaining blades to the work performed. we are extremely happy with the results. we purchased a used set of knives that were badly mistreated, ken corrected all edges fast and effective. highly recommend this business for all your blade sharpening needs!! thanks so much Ken!!
We have been going to Ken now for 2 years to sharpen our knives & scissors... even my husband's hair clipping unit. It is a passion with him. He knows his stuff. Highly recommended. Do not go anywhere else! This is the place.
Ken was so helpful. We brought him our super old second hand knives and he was able to make them useable. He was also incredibly helpful with advice for new knives to purchase. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy with his service even after we came home. He is fairly priced and the integrity he has for his business really makes the difference. We will definitely be going back with our new knives for maintenance.
