My son is 12 and building a robotic arm that can spot a crow and hose it down before it destroys the lawn. What? Buy that kid a computer, you say? I concur! Randy was and is a pleasure to work with. He is simply fun to talk to, professional and comes across as both knowledgeable and honest. Its a rare treat compared to the droids of Amazon or BestBuy etc. Dealing with Randy is more like dealing with a fun, caffeinated Obi Wan Kenobi in his early years... He had a rare 3060 which got my attention. Now that I know him, he has my business for the foreseeable future as well. The box was very well cabled, well packaged, stress-tested and properly lacking of the usual crapifications. Do business with him and you will not be disappointed. How refreshing to have such an experience and shop local!

I Can't Stop Thinking About Tony

Used to frequent this place when Jason worked here because we could always rely on him for excellent customer service, a friendly smile and results every time. But awhile back we called for help and someone very rudely said he wasn't there anymore and got aggressive when we asked for help saying they never did that (Jason had - wonder if that's what happened to him?) Haven't been happy with the phone service since. We're shopping around for a new source for assistance. Edit: I don't think I've ever received a response from a business so succinctly demonstrative of exactly what I've just finished saying about them. Also, because I know I'm not the only one with an edit button, I'm adding this screenshot to ensure the business has to either live with the consequences of their rudeness, or address it. I mean, I'm pretty sure based on the pattern so far which way they're going. But there's always an outside chance.

Not very helpful when you looking to purchase components for your own build. Just wondered in to see if they had anything for sale and was not talked to like a customer. Even if your not selling parts outright “which is 100% okay” you can at least speak to customers walking in respectfully. This will result in me not purchasing any services from them, and not recommending them to anyone I know who builds there own computers in Nanaimo.

Got my computer here from a friends recommendation, Got timely responses and helped fix an issue when it came up. Cable management is good, Helped pick out a monitor also in my price range. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a computer

Customer service and expertise at its best - As a business owner on Vancouver Island I have explored all possibilities to acquire a new hardware setup for my business and support local businesses. I am happy to share my positive experience with Micro-Vision. I have very specific needs for my business, which requires that a company is willing to spend the time to understand what these needs are. Micro-vision has been the only company I was able to get someone on the phone and talk to a real person. From there on I have been kindly directed along the future steps. My emails were responded to within 24 hours. Randy Ferguson reached out to me twice, by phone, to clarify some specifics of what I have asked him for. I have received not only what I was asking for, but also within the exact budget I was looking for. In my 24 years of working with computers I learnt to differentiate between so called ‘experts’ and the rare occasion where someone actually knows what they are doing. Randy is definitely one of the latter. I am proud to support Micro-Vision not only as a local gem, but also because of their outstanding customer support and expertise. In my opinion Micro-Vision deserves to put customer services and expertise into their services. I will happily purchase any computer related equipment at Micro-Vision in the future. We need more companies like Micro-Vision and I would like to express my deepest thanks to the entire Micro-Vision team for a throughout positive experience. I did not believe companies like yours exist anymore these days.
