It was a tough few days for us as we made the decision to say goodbye to our beautiful Holly. All the staff at the MAH showed compassion and care and helped with the difficult process. Special thanks to Dr Laura for outlining our choices so we could decide in an informed way. The kindness shown by everyone involved from Colby who managed our cals to the caring techs who were there in the final, peaceful moments, made her passing easier. So many thanks to all of you.

They care. And that's what's important. They care about your pet, alot! I love how they welcome cheddar and my cats. What a fantastic team!! The Vets are knowledgeable and know alot about modern techniques. Regarding spay - use the laser treatment. It amplifies healing by 3x. My dog was runing around without incident from day 2. 5 stars!
Muskoka Animal Hospital has taken excellent care of my bunny! Dr. Liu is very knowledgable about rabbits, and all of the staff were kind and professional. At the first appointment Dr. Liu informed me that Georgie was in fact not a boy, but a girl. Ha ha. I brought her in for a spay appointment a few weeks later. The surgery went well, but when she still wasn't eating by the next day I was worried. I called the clinic, they asked me to bring her back in, and they syringe fed her and made sure she started eating on her own before they sent her back home with me. Now she's back to her old self and healing up nicely. Highly recommended!
Our beautiful chocolate lab is 9 years old and has always been super healthy no issues, she hadn’t been to the vets in a few years only because we have had zero issues. However 2 days ago our furry family member needed help she had an infected tooth that left her in distress and a lot of pain, we immediately called Muskoka Animal hospital to get our sweet girl some help and to our complete surprise were told THEY COULDN’T SEE HER because they hadn’t seen her in a few years!!!!! But were “kind” enough to give us a handful of other numbers to try! We have 2 labs and have spent thousands on them, our other lab had surgery there. So very upsetting that they turned us away in our pups time of need. We called Huntsville Animal Hospital and was so very happy to hear that they could not only fit her in but the lady on the phone was compassionate and helpful and very welcoming and agreed that she needed to be seen ASAP. We took her there to Huntsville Animal Hospital and they were welcoming and wonderful and quick to get her the help she needed. I’m happy to say that our girl is doing great today almost back to her full happy self and it’s all thanks to Huntsville Animal Hospital and their amazing staff. Just upsetting that an animal hospital would turn away an emergency because you aren’t a regular..... you are a patient.... but you aren’t considered one if you don’t routinely visit.... Just something for you to think about if you are a “patient” there...... don’t miss those routine visits or you just might find yourself in our shoes and be turned away in your furry animals time of need.
Thank you to every staff member at Muskoka Animal hospital. Radar had a fun day at the vet, saw a few dogs, met lots of loving people. Got her mani/pedi and only hissed a little bit. We both can’t wait to be back!
