What a treat of a shop! Uniquely made dishes and bowls, cups and pots...beautiful pottery designs...silk kimonos and quaint stationery. So many beautiful and functional things to see... like a shop in Granville Island. For the quality, the prices are reasonable. Worth a visit if you don't like ordinary.

I ordered a donabe from here online and was super happy with my purchase, so I decided to check this place out when I was in town. Beautiful selection of Japanese pottery as well as furoshiki, incense, and other Japanese gifts and homegoods. The store owners are also very kind with the best Japanese service. Also, the stuff is not cheap but the prices are reasonable for the quality. If you're into Japanese homegoods this is definitely a must!
Great store! I was looking for some authentic incense and I'm so glad I found this place! I ended up buying so much more stuff once I walked in. And great Japanese service! The lady running the store was super nice and humble and she even allowed me to buy something that she no longer had in stock (display only), and so right there she gained a loyal customer. I'll be visiting regularly. And for those who complain about the price, I guess you prefer cheap material made in China. If you want quality, you gotta pay for it.
