I purchased my 5 layer RV cover for my travel trailers about 3 years ago and it performed as stated in their ads. I live in Jasper Alberta - winter 20 cm of snow and -20 degrees - Summer with a lot of Sun high is about 25 degrees at its worst a few days of 30 degrees and I have heavy winds since my elevation is at 3500 ft. Have had light hail once pencil eraser size. This cover worked excellent..... It did start to deteriorate, and I had two tears and the monsoon season is approaching so I contacted RVcover.ca and they immediately honored their warranty. One of the top companies I worked with. I needed something that was waterproof and the customer service agent suggested that I get the gold shield 5 layer cover. After a rainfall the car was completely dry which is amazing because the last cover I had leaked right through. Thank you!

I wish I had read these reviews prior to purchasing. I bought 2 covers, totaling in excess of 700. One cover sent was for a completely different style of RV and would not fit my unit. My options were 1) they would refund me 40% of the cost and I would keep the cover which I have no use for, or 2) I pay out of pocket to ship the cover back to them, at which point they would refund the cost of the cover but not the returned shipping. The second cover purchased had 2 straps rip off it during installation. I am being told I need to send them 95 to cover the cost of shipping the replacement cover. So after spending in excess of 700 I am now left with no usable covers and am looking at spending over an additional 200 just to be issues the same low quality covers.
