Avoid the crowds of Lake Louise and opt for Moraine Lake instead - smaller and much quieter. The Lodge accommodation was superb, loved the unique decoration and the atmosphere of the place. Dined in the restaurant, food was excellent with service to match

You could not stay at a more elegant, beautiful and peaceful place. Period. The cabins are exquisite, with beautiful fireplaces in each one. The lodge library is incredible and relaxing space. There are no bad views on this entire property. But the most amazing part of this property are the staff members of the lodge. Nowhere are guests treated better, is more time taken, and is more love put into the guest service experience. There are incredible nearby hikes. Even an amazing biking trail. The canoes are a bit pricey, but are included if you’re a guest of the lodge. Can not recommend a place more highly!
If You go anywhere once in your life this has to be on the list Lake Louise, quick look around the crowds, then move on to Lake Moraine, you will not regret it we stayed at Lake Moraine lodge, yes its costs, but Lake Louise area is not cheap, so it only a little more in money, but it is SO mush more in Experience Remember You can always earn money tomorrow, but you can't buy memories, you have to Experience them would go again tomorrow Caveat - this place is so good they have to limit people going to it. we were on a driving tour, that's why i booked the hotel, you are Guaranteed to get in, otherwise the other option is by bus. if you're going by car get there VERY early otherwise you may not get up the road
Incredibly beautiful place. The lake is amazing. Better than Lake Louise. The lodge is very luxurious and the dinner is good. It’s a petty that the first bus with tourists arrived at 06:15 AM. Loud and clear... The canoes were included. We enjoyed staying here
This place is what anyone will dream to lodge in. The sight seeing every morning is breath taking. The food and the serene atmosphere is the best anyone can wish for. Although the price could be on the high side, staying here is what one will not forget in a life time.... Love it!!!
Moraine Lake was a must see on my trip to Alberta. Honestly one of the most beautiful spots in Canada. Reasonably easy to get to. Go to the left of the massive rock pile, that will take you to the path to the view point at the top of Lake Moraine. So many spots to get pictures. There is a cafe and gift shop beside the lake to get a souvenir and lunch or coffee. You can continue on the path past the cafe/gift shop for alternate view points of morraine lake. Worth the hike. Lodge is beautiful. Wish we could have stayed there but they are booked well in advance. Beautiful rooms and place.
Come for the beauty, stay for the food!!! We stayed for four nights. The food was absolutely delicious. From breakfast to library sandwiches and soup, to evening cookies and coffee and an evening meal — what can I say only WOW!!! Apart from the food the lake and surroundings were stunning. Accommodation was excellent with extremely friendly staff always willing to advise where needed. I can not recommend Moraine Lake Lodge highly enough!
Stayed at the cozy Moraine Lake Lodge. Completely worth the splurge. Food was fantastic, free canoe privileges, and fun guided hikes included. Free breakfast was amazing as well. Lunch options were very limited, but having this amazing place to yourself once all the day tourists leave is priceless.
