Very quick and efficient service. However, the printing and copying facility is very old fashioned sloppy. Don't forget to carry coins or else you won't be able to do anything. You might need to make two trips as staff might ask for additional documents which were neither a requirement nor mentioned anywhere on their website or guidance notes. Other than these, it was very smooth. The location is very convenient also.

Be aware that you can no longer send your Chinese Visa Application at the Chinese Consulate on 2100 Ste-Catherine Street West as of April 23rd, 2019. The service here is actually quite efficient, although curt. The staff seem more understanding and helpful if you are able to speak to them in Mandarin. Not that they are rude in English or French, they are just more proficient in Chinese in my experience.

30 minutes to get visas for a family of four is unbelievably efficient. It all is about being prepared and spend the extra time online filling out all the information correctly and arrive with photocopies of travel documents, passports and hotel reservations. We took our photos at our local Walmart, but you can take them there for 10 per person. Photocopies cost 0.40 per copy in cash coins only, so going to Staples is cheaper. Someone said you can go to the Chines Consulate to only pay 100 CAD instead of 164 (taxes and services included), but no employee was able to confirm another place in Quebec to apply for a visa to China since you must do digital finger prints when applying so make sure you booked your appointment online as well. No appointment no visa!

The online form is very hard to use. Once finished, it cant be modified. I downloaded the form, But Nothing happened when I tried to save the file for future use. So, I basically lost the file. On the website, it spends a very large portion explaining how to apply visa for a child but there is no definition of the age of \Child\. This looks ridiculous.
