My wife and I wanted a formal oil painting and we had heard of Newport Brushstrokes Fine Art in Montreal. We talked to David Martin who explained the process in detail. We sent him a digitized picture and within a couple of weeks he sent us a digitized proof of our oil painting. We discussed a few minor changes with David and with in a few weeks we received our beautiful framed oil portrait. We highly recommend David and Newport Brushstrokes Fine Art for anyone interested in a great oil portrait.

To Newport Brushstrokes: the four headmaster portraits are exceptional! Your artists have done a remarkable job in creating such true likenesses of these men for whom, in most cases, we had only a small photo as a visual reference. Allowing us to see the paintings during the process was so nice — even though the artists were all spot on, it gave us the opportunity to suggest modifications mid-course, should we need any. We’re so pleased to have these portraits in hand before the dedication of the school's headmasters leadership gallery. I know it will mean so much to the families of the headmasters to see such a beautiful tribute to their fathers. Bram’s attention to this project has been equally masterful. He is the consummate client advocate, with unfailing follow-through. We look forward to future projects!
