This is a PAID manmade beach and there are time slots! We did not pay attention to it and ended up staying only for an hour. We absolutely loved it though. It's a shallow beach (maybe 5-5.5 ft deep). It is so warm and welcoming. Those who are not good swimmers can be comfortable knowing there are several lifeguards on duty. There are green areas with tables to set up for large groups as well. Well maintained.

Okay place to visit in the summer, they have a nice small beach but you have to pay before you enter. On the other side is paddling boats and canyons for rent. I bought the MTL passport and this activity was already included, I chose the paddling boat for an hour. Its best when you paddle further inside and enjoy the nature by yourself, do not go during the afternoon time because the sun burnt my face off.

Jean Dorée beach is a great place to spend time with family or friends. The beach is clean and well equipped. Some watersports are also available at a cost. If you don t have a car, it s easily accessible from Jean Drapeau tube station, there is a free shuttle who will take you there.i'll defenely recommend that beach for a day trip during the summer. But come early to get a good spot

Took us some time to get to as we entered the island on bikes, but well worth the time and effort. Very relaxed atmosphere and the freshwater is calm. There are lifeguards stationed around so it is safe for families and young children. The “beach” closed at 7pm the day we were there, so do take note of the closing timing. Entrance fee is cheaper after 4pm! Do bring your own food and drinks because prices around the beach are inflated.

Love the place, very clean, good service. I didn't walk around to see what they have to offer, but I like that there are a lot of trees around the beach. The bathroom are small. A lot of parking and easy access with public transportation. Perfect for families. For a trendy crowd I wouldn't recommend.

Very convenient for all ages and peopl. Clean and organized. They have a bar and a food truck, a bit pricy but it’s there. Easy access from all around the city. I went there during the pandemic and they are well ready with limited capacity and reservation entry.
