Having Valerie with us on this journey made a huge difference. Being able to check in with her and get her opinion and advice gave us a lot of confidence to consider next steps to take. We were hoping to labour at home with her, but our little one had different plans and we had to induce. Sadly we couldn't have Valerie in hospital due to Covid, but she was just a phone call away and it was great to have that support througout labour. Her care after our little one was born was wonderful and such a big help, especially now that visits from family are so difficult.

Our experience with Valerie was wonderful. She was our doula when COVID-19 lockdown started, I was in a very vulnerable position and she always found a way to support us. She is extremely caring, supporting and intuitive for birth preparation, post-partum and breastfeeding. It made all the difference to know that we could rely on Valerie, being away from our family and having to deal with the uncertainties of the pandemic. I was so lucky to find her and I can not thank her enough for being there for me when I needed it the most. We highly recommend her, thank you so much Valerie !
Valérie is an Angel sent from heaven. She made every step of my pregnancy and my 49 hour long labor a breeze. I don't know how I would have done without her. I am looking forward for baby number 2 with her. I always recommend her when I hear one of my friends are pregnant. Pregnancy and labor is hard and stressful enough as it is. Please do yourself a favor and give her a call. Doulas are truly a blessing.
Valerie is an incredible doula. She takes the time to listen and accommodates your birth plan. She is caring, zen and passionate. A I cannot wait to work with her again!
I am so grateful I was able to have a capable and loving doula at my birth and before and afters. She truly made me feel like every decision was mine to make, and that no one could take this life changing experience away from me. Every step of the way she was supportive in what I wanted to do,heronlygoal was to make sure I felt safe and that I was always informed. At the birth, she was a savior to my husband and me when he became tired and emotional. She knew what to do and was prepared for best and worst. Valerie is an intuitive and deeply caring doula - she has a true calling to be with mom's and families during such precious and vulnerable times. My second daughter was born several years after my first and getting back into the right frame of mind was essential. Val helped in several ways: from setting up a space at home, prepping to birthing in a new environment and knowing my rights. She helped me through some breastfeeding issues and held sacred space for me after the labor to help me heal both mentally and directed me to people who could help with other post partum issues. Additionally, Val introduced me to the world of batch cooking and "feeding the freezer" - we cooked together to ensure we'd spend less time cooking and more time snuggling and resting. This time was both fun, informative and a time-saver! A true professional with a deep love for her craft -- having her as a doula is a true gift.
