With a motivation to try to innovate the gaming community, Clever-Plays was formed in 2013 with a vision to create unique games that showcased a harmony between polished gameplay and immersive worlds. By working with a small but mighty diverse team from different backgrounds, we are able to listen to everyone's creative input to deliver games that offer memorable experiences , emotional intrigue and challenging gameplay to players of all kinds. In 2016, we launched our first title Leap of Fate As a roguelite game stood out from the crowd due to its focus on intuitive gameplay. At the time of release, very few mobile games could boasta control scheme as fast and tight.The mix of magic and cyberpunk generated a world worthy of exploration, and integration of the arcane via tarot cards and buddhist chakras deepened the experience. With a choice of four characters with their own distinct playstyles, stories, and struggles humanized the action and kept players engaged in playing to each character’s conclusion. Released on PC, mobile and PS4, Leap of Fate received excellent reviews (90+, 4+ stars). Touch Arcade awarded the mobile version “Game of the Week” upon release, and included the game in its top games of that year!
