We have passed by and said many times that we should give this place a try. So we did. For 30 dollars this is what we got. Food was delicious. I had leftovers for my lunch the next day. Unique restaurant for the area. Well worth a try.

My new go-to Indian restaurant. I love this place. I’ve ordered from them directly a few times now and their food is always top quality with huge portions at very reasonable prices (order directly through them to get free deliver over 35. Tons of veggie options too!

Hi there. So i had an order through door dash last Sat. 2 butter Naan and one Shahi Paneer. The Naan’s came with no butter at all, the Shahi paneer was extremely salty, full of big pieces of onion inside where i know the tomato and onion and other ingredients for the sauce should be blended and the sauce must be soft. The paneer pieces were cut so tiny to save on the paneer as well. I am sorry this was my experience. I was craving for some Indian food and was totally bumped! Attached i am adding pictures of the paneer in comparison with standard paneer piece size and also of the onions in the food. This dish didn’t look nor taste like Shahi paneer at all and once again, so much salt!

They have great vegetarian options and everything tastes homemade. Sometimes they add little freebies too! It's definitely my go-to Indian restaurant in Montreal :)

I have eaten at this place three times. The food is good, but I've had better. Indian food and the Plateau run on the expensive side, so this place offers average value. Their naan is more pita like and less chewy than I've had from places in CDN/NDG; not sure what had the other reviewers raving about it. I think their grilled dishes are what they excel at; the paneer tikka and Tandoori chicken were delicious. Spice levels range from Grandpa George to molten lava but were difficult to communicate properly to staff over phone. However, they have lost our business permanently and here is why: Not wanting to give in to the profit gouging that are food delivery services and living nearby, we decided to walk there and carry out. We called at 4:30 for pickup at 6. Person at the counter told us to call back if we could to remind them closer to the take-out time (lol). We did so but didn't get an answer. We showed up at 6 and waited at least 45 minutes for our food. All the while, swarms of Uber/Skip/DD were walking in and out for their orders. While we waited to even be acknowledged by staff, the person at the till was wasting many minutes on the phone with someone who had such basic questions as "what is a lassi." Subsequently, I watched him pick up the phone when it rang but not respond, opting to leave it off the hook instead. Nobody kept the Uber/Skip/DD people in line or enforced proper mask etiquette/distancing with them. As a reward for our having waited so long, they gave us an additional sugar coma-inducing lassi on top of the one they include with all their orders. It blows my mind that customers who order directly from them–well in advance–and who give them the full profit margin are treated as second-class vs. someone who ordered 20 minutes ago on a 3rd party delivery service. It also speaks volumes about management's philosophy. Sorry, Everest, but I'll make like the Dyatlov and pass on this one.
