Kevin Powers, now 47, began his work in the trade of horology at 27. Kevin worked as an apprentice at Blackmore’s Watch and Clock Repair in Fredericton NB under the instruction of Paul Blackmore. While earning two degrees at university, Kevin continued to work on watches and clocks out of his home in Moncton. More importantly, he gained extra training during this time by working closely with his colleague Paul Blackmore in Fredericton. In addition, Kevin learned online from a seasoned horologist Bob Tascione. Lastly in 2017, Kevin undertook specialized training in watch and clock repair at The Empire Group in Toronto Ontario. For his 8th year now, Kevin looks forward to serving his customers while providing the customer service and quality workmanship people expect. In October 2006, Kevin appeared on the front page of the Times and Transcript in a picture of him working on a clock that was built in 1677. The clock movement, which was badly worn, was rebuilt and put in proper working order.
