I found this bookstore during the pandemic, and I'm so happy I did! Mississauga is full of chains, and is lacking in the locally owned businesses department. This hidden gem is in downtown Streetsville, in a quiet little place. Their selection is great, and if they don't have it in stock, they'll order it for you. The owners are also top notch. They are so kind, generous, and super helpful! It's nice to find a new bookstore, VERY happy I found this one!

Cozy and intimate shop. Super friendly and helpful owners. Definitely worth stopping in for a visit.

Communications are timely. I ordered from them because the book I wanted (to give as a gift for Christmas) was not available from Indigo. I will update after I pick up on Friday. I only wish they have another day for pick up during the week, Wed perhaps in the evening.. Fridays and Saturdays alone are too limited.

I haven't been to The Book Wardrobe, but I was so excited to stumble upon an Indie bookstore in the GTA! I ordered a few books online and I was so pleased with the service I received. Carmela is so wonderful to correspond with and you can tell she really cares about her customers, both in real life and virtual ones! I would definitely love to visit the store when I'm in Mississauga at some point! Would definitely recommend purchasing books from The Book Wardrobe :).

A nice, independent gem of a bookstore tucked away on the first floor of the Robinson-Bray house in Streetsville (used to be upstairs, before moving across from the Tea Room). In addition to a unique selection of books for readers of all ages, there are also fascinators & hats, scarves, pins, and several other handcrafted tokens and trinkets that make perfect gifts, especially at Christmas time.
