Pros: - The (vice) principal is very responsible; he will listen to your concerns and will do anything about it - Some teachers ACTUALLY care about their students and very entertaining Cons: - Recently the school keeps hiring HORRIBLE teachers, and now the good teachers have to leave bc of Doug Ford My friend once had a grade 10 Math teacher that doesn't know how to teach and the students have to teach themselves. When they had any question that teacher would shut them down and argue back to the students, putting the blame on them. Another grade 10 Academic teacher also doesn't know how to teach, so she just gave up and left the school last year. One grade 11 English teacher is also HORRIBLE. She teaches well, but she's a hard marker and some of the classmates I heard even fail grade 11 English class. - The environment is very dull and boring, the building is very old and there were cockroaches last year in the cooking class, and there's no air conditioner - So many places are under construction: cooking class, fashion class, etc. - If you're looking for a school for your academic pursuits, TLK is not the best place since not many people really care about studying (except academic classes, from what I heard) - Some staffs are very rude; I didn't like them

Good school but you need to be careful when choosing your teacher. Some teachers you must avoid. Miss Hill and Miss Kaliya. They both are real bullies and will give you severe depression. There are some really amazing teachers as well like Mr. D'Souza, Miss Bhinder ans Mr. Vlachours ️.

Attended TL for two years, seriously couldn't ask for more. Many supportive staff members and great people. I was pretty involved in student life and athletics and I seriously had a blast. Kinda upsets me how some people think anything other than great of this school because high school is what you make it. And TL definitely helped make my high school experience worthwhile. Wasn't sure what to expect when I first joined but I'm so grateful I did - wouldn't be who I am if it wasn't for the support and encouragement I got from everyone. Go Kougars!
