they provide hand sanitizer and face masks upon arrival in case guests forget about their own. it’s a delightful nursery with lots of things not just indoor and outdoor plants and plant supplies. very lovely helpful staff members, decent selection and prices for value, the plants all look healthy, hydrated and happy. and they also have a good selection of pots of all sizes, plastic, ceramic and terracotta.
Careful buying house plants from Sheridan Nursery!! I bought two houseplants from Sheridan Mississauga. An Orchid and Gardenia. The Gardina was covered in tiny bugs and webs I finally took it back. The Orchid has Mealybugs. I have purchased my houseplants usually through florist never from a nursery. I've tried everything can't get rid of them either. I will never purchase another house plant from them. Maybe 1 sick plant but 2? That's not a coincidence it's a huge problem that can spread to all your other house plants. I would not recommend buying house plants from the Mississauga location. I have spent more time treating these sick plants than I have enjoyed them and I got them in August 2020. Never again!!! Shame on you Sheridan Nursery you're better than that and employ knowledgeable staff. You should make sure you're not selling diseased plants to anyone.
I will say best quality and selection of plants in the city, but... Ordered a Christmas tree at the Mississauga location as their online system indicated they had stock. Receive an email saying they didn't have any there. I responded requesting delivery and never heard back. No tree this year!
Staff is always professional, and polite. We love going here, and how organized and clean it is. You may pay a small premium than you would at a garden center, but you get what you pay for. GREAT selection of pumpkins as well!
