Beautiful parkland and beaches at the waterfront. There are a lot of great scenic spots to see the skyline of Toronto as well as well maintained trails to wander along. Word to the wise, parking will be found at Jack Darling Memorial Park NOT down Gatehouse Drive. Also keep in mind that if you park in the very first parking lot, this will lead to an off-leash park so if you don't have a fur baby, you may want to follow the driveway a little further to additional parking. As there are a lot of dogs throughout the park, trod carefully to bypass hidden 'surprises' lol! Otherwise, a great place to enjoy one of the city's green spaces!

Good place for short hike. Trails are connected to Jack Darling Memorial Park to see the beauty of waterfront. It's a combination of boardwalks and ground trails for easy hiking

Such a beautiful spot. You feel like you're far out of the City, but really only steps from civilization.

First and foremost Parking - there are 3 parking lots at Jack Darling park and getting a spot during peak hours can be a bit troublesome but we did get one after 5-10 mins of circling the lots. This is the best way to enter since there is no allocated spot at the start of Rattray marsh. Beautiful view of the lake, city and so many spots to just sit and relax - this place is perfect quick get away for the neighborhood as well as Mississauga residents. Enter the boardwalk from the Jack Darling park which is just 7-8 mins walk along the lake and then this boardwalk begins. We went after a decent snow day and the path was clear and easy to walk. The boardwalk does close after sunset as for the winter hours seems it's until 5pm. There are playing areas for kids as well at the Jack Darling park. Overall beautiful spot!

Loved the place. Was able to find few birds listed there. If you are into shooting nature pics, this is one place you shouldn't miss.
