I have been seeing Ian Koo for over 5 years now. I first I saw him due to a severe sports injury and regular Doctors just didn't want to deal with it since there were no factures. Dr. Koo helped with the nerve and tissue issues and in matter of days I had mobility back within week and I cant tell you how many times I have recounted this story for many. Since then I have seen for many other health related issues and his advice is always sound, not drastic. Why do I keep going back to Dr. Koo? Well his approach is super friendly, knowledgeable and he is very very accessible. Also, he does not push theories on you just knowledge for you to decide what is suitable for me. Most recently I saw him due to back issues that Physios could not help with (sitting all day at desks during pandemic is terrible for the body) again after couple of sessions I am back on the mend. I always find him refreshing with his knowledge and approach to my individual health needs.

Dr. Koo is amazing! Very open and honest in his approach to map out how my issues were interconnected and helped me to see the root cause and tackle it from the root on. He treats the mind, body & soul - as a whole. Many MDs provide band-aid solutions usually pharmaceuticals which doesn't help. Not Dr. Koo, he is caring, attentive and dedicated to MY care. You don't feel like just another case file.

I had suffered from a horrible back strain. The strain left me pretty much immobile. I was doing physio and RMT with very minimal relief. The pain was becoming intolerable. Having seen Dr. Koo for my naturopathic needs, I reached out to him regarding my back. He booked me in for acupuncture. I could barely walk when I arrived, I needed to be held up and was in excruciating pain. After he assessed me, he began the treatment, explaining everything along the way. Once the treatment was over, he did another assessment. I was able to walk without assistance and my pain though still there went from a 12 to an 8. It's been 3 days and despite some stiffness in the morning, I can honestly say I'm feeling about 80% better. Dr. Koo was able to help me more in 1 treatment than others were in 10. He is honest, caring and an amazing practitioner. He truly is a God send and I would recommend him to anyone!
