Booked a fitting in order to try the PXG Gen 2 0311 irons, specifically requesting this set of clubs when booking. Drove two hours to Modern Golf and was told to warm up in fitting room. Thirty five minutes later employee arrived and started the session. Half way through he advised me that he was fitting me for the 0211 irons, since they didn't have the 0311 head in stock. Very disappointed that this was not made clear at the time of booking, as I was not interested in the other set. Session itself was somewhat helpful, however still not certain which shaft to use for the club desired. Would advise anyone attending to check beforehand to ensure the reason that you are attending can be fulfilled. Overall, clean facility and very informative process, however I feel it was a waste of the 100 that I paid. I was contacted today by phone by one of the owners of Modern Golf, Paul Fisher. During a long conversation I was able to explain my concerns in regards to my experience. Mr Fisher was also able to explain to me more thoroughly the process that the business employs, and where certain aspects might have been explained in more detail at the actual time of the fitting. I was very impressed with the fact that the owner of this small business took the time to personally reach out to me in order to deal with my concerns. After our conversation I feel that I am better able to understand the purpose of the fitting. I realize that his business, along with countless others, have been and are still being affected by the unusual circumstances that we are all facing. All in all, I am happy to say that my opinion of Modern Golf has changed and will probably use their services in the future.

Matt's communication was great during the fitting. I asked that he not tell me the brand of shaft or head he was giving me to hit. After a few shots he would ask me for feedback prior to letting me know why he put a particular setup in my hand. After the session I had a clearer understanding of my swing path, plane, impact etc and the relationship of the numbers provided by the Trackman. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend Modern Golf to anyone who wants to be fitted for clubs or take lessons.

I ordered a women’s iron set online for my girlfriend for Christmas. I ordered on December 16 and USPS sent them the labels to put on the package on December 18. They were expected to arrive on December 24. Since December 18, nothing has happened; they haven’t even slapped the labels on the box. I reached out quite a few times for some answers and got no response. For a company that touts themselves as a modern golf outlet with dreams of expansion, I’m not sold. This is simple logistics stuff and they couldn’t have done any worse. I would have been okay if a customer service rep replied to my messages but I didn’t even get that.

Went to modern golf on the recommendation of a friend at the beginning of June to have my driver reshafted. The process wasn't an issue, I hit a few different shafts and found one that improved accuracy and distance but it wasn't in stock so they said it would take 3 maybe 4 weeks for the shaft to come in. Since then I have heard nothing from them, no update, no sorry for the delay. I've also called repeatedly and left messages and still no response, hence the review. At this point all I want is a refund and I will go elsewhere but I live in Niagara so getting down there while it's open has been an issue. Very unsatisfied with the quality of service once they had my money.
