This clinic improved my life!!!!! I suffered from Hyperacusis and Misophonia quite badly to the point where I never thought I’d be cured. I always wore ear plugs when I went out, because basic sounds were so painful to me, and I even avoided gatherings with friends and family in fear that I wouldn’t be able to handle being around noise. It made me frustrated and angry. Then I found out about Metro Hearing clinic and less than 2 years later, I’m basically cured!!!! Januz and his team are helpful and friendly and the treatment really works. It was totally worth investing in this treatment because it has changed my life!! I’m thrilled about my results and I’m so thankful to all of you at Metro Hearing Clinic!!! THANK YOU!!! :)

***UPDATED I want to personally thank Lidia, Janusz, Alicja and anyone else involved in my claim for doing the necessary work to get my WSIB claim accepted and to begin my treatment. I am optimistic their tinnitus treatment plan will work for me. * * * * * * * * * My first appointment at this clinic was in August. I am having a terrible experience at this clinic. I suffered an ear injury at work and I am going through WSIB. It took them 2 months to write a recommendation letter to WSIB that was about 50 words. I basically went back and forth with the metro hearing and WSIB. WSIB notified me that my claim has been accepted for 10 days now and that the fax went through to this clinic. I have been calling and left a voicemail but they have not returned my calls nor do they even pick up my phone calls now. I will update this review if this clinic actually returns my calls. Very disappointed after reading mostly positive reviews.

I would suggest anyone considering going here to be cautious as some things about this place do not add up. I called to set an appointment for my Tinnitus but when I started asking basic questions things got strange. Their staff do not have any recognized qualifications, e.g. audiologist. I'm not sure how they can do a proper hearing test without at least an audiologist on staff. I have had 3 hearing tests done before and it's always been done by an audiologist as the equipment used is complex. I asked what treatments they provide and they said they would only discuss that after the assessment, which costs 190. Of course none of this would be covered by OHIP or any insurance company since nobody there has a recognized qualification. I canceled my appointment as asking for 190 upfront with no information about possible treatments and no staff with recognized qualifications seems unreasonable.

This clinic brings life back to all its patients. Sufferers of tinnitus and misophonia after treatment can lead normal back again, despite all nonsense opinions from most of the doctors, audiologists or hearing experts... (so called...) all over the place. This is the one and only place that can TRULY help people with hearing disorders put all the suffering behind them and forget about it... A miracle clinic. Yes. It is. 5 stars!
